My Tuesday in a nutshell...
Nothing says “opportunity” to a toddler quite like a basket full of clean laundry, an open toilet, and a few free minutes while mom’s in the other room. Sheesh.

Rosie’s post-breakfast tummy is one for the books. Lately, I’ve been mixing half a packet of maple and brown sugar Oat Revolution with Earth’s Best infant oatmeal. This morning, she ate an entire adult-sized bowl of oatmeal, an egg, half a waffle and half a carton of yogurt.
She really does love breakfast, but getting enough iron-rich foods in her has been a challenge....

When Rosie sees Christmas lights, she goes, “Ooooooooohh! Ooooooh!” and points and bobs around. I love how excited she gets. So we got pretty jazzed about getting a Christmas tree this year. Rosemary got into the cereal cupboard this morning and ransacked a box of Lucky Charms, like a hungry raccoon.

I will never forget when I was in the hospital the first night with Rosemary and the nurse said, “That one looks just like daddy.” But it’s so true. In the top photos, we’re both a little younger than Rosie, ann the bottom photos, I am on the left at about 18 months old (and look at all my crazy hair). Our Kelty carrier showed up on our doorstep Friday night, and when we put Rosie in it, she did not want to get out. Let’s face it, it’s a great vantage point to woof at dogs and see birds in the sky.
