What kind of camera do you use?

I have a Nikon D80 that I use every single day. I also have a half-working iPhone.

What lenses do you use?

I have and use a Nikon 50mm f/1.8, a Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8, and a Nikon 18-35mm f/3.5-5.6. If you have a choice between and expensive camera and expensive lenses, I say get good lenses, no question. And if you can only get one lens, get a 50mm f/1.8. That’s on my camera 80% of the time. I prefer natural light and it’s a great go-to lens for indoor portraits.
