Rosemary got a Bitty Baby from Grandma Cici for Christmas. She loves saying “baby” and looking at babies when she sees one in public. But she hadn’t done much with the doll though, until recently. She brings it to me so I can help her put it on and then wears it around while she plays. She also will feed it drinks of juice, hold its hand, kiss it, and sit with it on the sofa when she watches TV (which she also does with her stuffed animals…it’s so cute it kills me!)

She’s getting the hang of touching things gently, especially faces, which is looking promising for her baby brother or sister. We had a real eye-poker on our hands for a while.

I can’t wait to see her with the real baby for the first time. And, you know, let her take the baby for a ride in her Little Tikes car.
