Had this to cheer me up at dinner after a somewhat disappointing doctor’s appointment this afternoon. Andrew was there, too, but he’s not quite as cute when eating a milkshake.

Turns out I’m not really making any progress with the whole “get the baby out” thing. I still have some time, and thankfully both me and baby are doing fine. But it’s hard to be this uncomfortable, having contractions off and on, and not getting anywhere. I am not even in a place where induction is possible, so at this point, I have to think about the real possibility of a c-section. And the reality that I may just never go into labor on my own with any baby, ever. Hmph. But, I’m looking on the bright side of that scenario (I’d not have to worry about a scary emergency c-section, I’d know exactly when baby was coming, I’d definitely have my own doctor there), and still holding out hope.

And now I have to go wash the stickiness off baby number one!
