You know it’s been a long day in the house when you are taking pictures of your baby draped in your own ponytail to see what she’ll someday look like.

Reason? I woke up this morning with a crazy backache. Like couldn’t even roll over to stand up. I still haven’t figured out exactly what caused it, but I suspect it’s from periodic midnight sleeping in the rocking chair in our room, slumped over with a baby in my arms. Also, spending hours walking with her propped up on my shoulder to help with her reflux. It feels better this evening, but still not normal.

Luckily, Andrew was able to work from home while I tried to take it easy. As such, we had a pretty boring day of TV, puzzles, the backyard, a short walk, and hair dress-up.
