My little dears and I have been spending a lot of time in the backyard, lately. There’s a swing, sandbox, inflatable pool, a ramp to roll toy cars down, flowers to pick, bugs to watch, birds to feed, and lots of fruits and veggies growing to water.

We’ve spent a lot of time at our local parks, lately, too. I wear Anthea in the Baby Bjorn while she stares and kicks, and Rosie runs up stairs and down grassy hills, jumps of rocks, climbs things that are for much bigger kids, slides a gazillion times, and generally gets all her energy out.

I’m very lucky that it is not winter, during this time of Anthea still being small and Rosie being full of mind-boggling energy. Most days it is nice enough to get out and about, but we do experience wet playground equipment, random downpours, and days where we need both sunscreen and popsicles and a house with the heat on.
