A giant bean bag arrived in a box today. I ordered it last week, and it came vacuum-packed, looking like a marshmallow about to explode. Rosemary was a chorus of “Oooooh! Ooooh!” while I opened it, eagerly waiting to jump in it.

Ok, so it’s a little bigger than I thought it would be. But totally worth it. Anthea took an epic nap in this thing today. She sleeps great in her crib at night, but will not nap in there. She was napping in the swing, but we had to give it back to our friends since we were borrowing, but they’re moving out-of-state. Consequently, naptime has been difficult the past two weeks. Lots of sleeping on top of me, or in her car seat. It’s been hard to get a free moment when the girls don’t overlap in their napping. But, this did the trick. Apparently sleeping next to me on a giant cloud is just as good as on me.

And Rosemary spent quite a while this evening jumping off the sofa and doing somersaults into it.
