Three weeks old today! Where does the time go? She’s already changed so much since she was born. This week she started really focusing on things. She used to stare, but you couldn’t get her to zero in on any object in particular. Now if I hold a toy or something next to her, she turns her head and looks directly at it.

She’s apparently gained some weight, but I don’t know where it’s gone. Her legs and arms are long and scrawny. But she loves to eat. She seems to be getting more into a routine, too. Eat, fuss, burp a big “I-can’t-believe-that-came-out-of-a-baby” burp, snuggle, sleep. When she’s fussy, we walk her around the house singing or talking to her about objects. She spent time this week listening to my mom talk about all her uncles and aunts and grandparents. She loves a good walk outside in the Baby Bjorn, too. She’s also sleeping about four hours at a time. Mainly, our girl’s an easy-going baby. 

She has so many funny and expressive faces, you could be entertained all day.
